​Nitrous oxide anxiolysis
This is a form of minimal sedation that helps relax a nervous child.  It is routinely used in pediatric dentistry to allow the delivery of safe and comfortable dental care and has no post-treatment effects.  Not all children are candidates for this, Dr. Anisha will make a recommendation for it after assessing your child's medical history and their comfort level with dental procedures.

General anesthesia services
General anesthesia is sometimes required for children with extensive decay and those unable to cooperative for dental treatment.  Dr. Anisha recommends this option only after all minimally invasive options have been discussed and/or attempted.  Dr. Anisha will only provide general anesthesia sedation in the presence of a certified dental/medical anesthesiologist.  A physician evaluation is required prior to surgery.
