Cavity Arresting Treament 
 
Silver diamine fluoride (SDF) is a medicament that received FDA approval for use in the Unites States in 2015.  This material is easily and painlessly painted onto teeth to help prevent a cavity from becoming worse.  It works best on teeth that have small cavities, on young patients that are unable to undergo traditional dental restorations, on special needs patients who are unable to cooperate in a dental setting and on teeth that are close to falling out.  Dr. Anisha will evaluate options and make a recommendation if your child is a candidate for this minimally invasive technique.
